Stanley-Bailey No. 8-C Bench Plane (Jointer)
There is something so cool about the longer bench planes, especially the No. 8. Something about the 8 makes us think of naval battle ships, but we’re admittedly not “normal” (note: if you’re reading this, you’re a “plane person” and technically not “normal” either—sorry to break it to you).
This No. 8 seems to have been restored, but we think it was a long time ago, with the restored surfaces now showing age. Could be wrong. In any event, not all original.
It is, however, a super clean and crisp No. 8 with a very tight mouth (stop giggling) and stellar rosewood that is ready to rock in the workshop with a touch-up to the cutting edge.
Ships to you packed with exceptional care, and insured just in case.
