Sargent Ladybug No. 1506 - Bullnose Rabbet Plane
This wildly different Sargent take on a bullnose plane is often dubbed “The Ladybug.” I don’t know, folks. We just don’t see ladybug when we look at that plane. Anteater? Absolutely! Elephant? Ok, I see that. Aardvark? What do those even look like? Whatever. We think it’s funky and we like it a lot.
The actual stats: 4-inch, nickel-plated cast-iron plane with a 1-inch cutter, direct screw adjustment, and an adjustable, removable nose. It can be used as an ordinary rabbet plane, tightened into a bullnose configuration, or with the nose removed, to work immediately against an obstruction. The 1506 was sold without a fence and depth stop. Original cutter, nickel plating approx. 60%.
Ships to you packed exceptionally well and insured just in case.
