Norris A1 Panel (or Jointer) Plane - 17-1/2"
Right on the edge of sizes, where some call it the largest “panel plane” and others call it the smallest “jointer.” Raging debate aside, stained beech infill on a cast steel, post-war Norris panjointer plane, right here. Some loss of stain in high-traffic areas. But, on the huge plus side, this bad boy is entirely intact (from what we can see). No splits, cracks, or repairs. Even the tote tip is intact! Wowza. That could have something to do with this plane being very shy and having non-negotiable, personal bubble space extending five inches in every direction. That, my friend, is your neurosis to explore once you get to know each other a little better.
